Legal Internships

Students interested in legal internships may call (979) 775-1780. Internships are by availability and positions fill quickly. Internships are voluntary, unpaid, positions for limited duration usually 4-12 weeks on a rotating basis.

Interns assist with all aspects of the law office's activities, from legal research to court filings, client follow up and community outreach.  The Law Office of Paula E. Silva offers a dynamic, flexible work environment with excellent mentoring opportunities.  Typically, positions are filled on a rotating basis and require a minimum four-week commitment, although shorter term or project-specific internships may be accommodated.  Internships are not limited to students; all interested qualified parties should apply.

Duties: (1) Perform necessary case-based legal research; (2) Maintain up-to-date client files; (3) Perform data entry and other office work.

Qualifications: Excellent verbal and writing skills; basic computer literacy; ability to operate independently; time flexibility.
